Local elected officials will discuss the impact of the property tax referendum(Senate Bill 485), its impact on APS, and other topics of interest. The referendum will be on the November 6th ballot. 6:30pm light refreshments; panel discussion at 7pm

Officials that have confirmed attendance include Jennifer Jordan and Leah Aldridge (candidates for District 6 State Senator), Betsy Holland (Candidate for District 54 of the Georgia House of Representatives), Kandis Wood Jackson (At Large Representative APS Board of Education), Byron Amos (District 2 Representative APS Board of Education), and others not confirmed at this date.

The mission of NAPPS is to increase community awareness and support for our North Atlanta cluster schools, ultimately resulting in a high student retention rate Kindergarten through 12th grade. By educating the community about existing public school opportunities and advantages, NAPPS strives to strengthen the bond between our community and our school system.
