Wednesday, July 31 at BOTH campuses. If possible, those with the last names A-M should drop by between 9:00 – 10:00am and N-Z between 10:00am – 11:00am. Bring your child(ren) to meet teachers, visit classrooms, and drop off your UNOPENED school supply kits. Start off in the gym for information tables about all things Morris Brandon and don’t forget to take a “first-day-of-school” picture without pressure!
Additionally, we are looking for volunteers to greet and help direct families at both campuses. Please sign up HERE to volunteer.
Welcome Back from APS
Welcome back, Atlanta Public Schools families! As we prepare for another exciting school year full of endless opportunities for growth and success, we warmly welcome both returning and new members of our community. We thank you for choosing APS for your child’s educational journey.
At APS, we’re laying the foundations for academic excellence. Last year, we achieved a record- breaking graduation rate of 86.6%, while the Class of 2024 secured over 220 million dollars in scholarships, and students across the district progressed in literacy and numeracy. These achievements showcase our commitment to academic achievement and student success. This year, we will build upon that foundation as we continue to foster a caring culture of learning that prepares every scholar for college, career, and life.

Morning Carpool opens at 7:15 AM and closes promptly at 7:40 AM (Howell Mill lot) and 7:40-7:45 (Main entrance). Students who arrive at 7:46 AM will have to report to the front office.
Afternoon Carpool opens at 2:15 PM.
If your student is riding the bus to school, please confirm your route by checking on APS’s transportation website. Your route may have changed from last year, so please confirm your route before the first day of school.
