Healthy Comfort Food Recipe Contest: Submission Deadline of Friday, January 13!

Calling all “FUTURE CHEFS” (4th & 5th Graders ONLY) for APS’s Culinary Competition. Twelve lucky winners from APS district elementary schools will be chosen as finalists to compete in the Future Chef Contest at Sylvan Middle School on Saturday March 25. As an added bonus, the winner of this event will be entered into a national competition for some great prizes!

Brandon Releasing at 12:30 on Friday, Jan. 6

Due to impending inclement weather, Atlanta Public Schools are closing 2 hours early out of an abundance of caution. This means that dismissal for Morris Brandon will occur at 12:30pm, with buses running their typical routes. Please expect students home 2 hours earlier than normal arrival times. If you will be picking up your student, please pick up by 1pm.

Other important notes:

1. There will not be on-site after-care nor enrichment activities.
2. All grades will have a shortened lunch period. Students CAN still buy lunch tomorrow.
3. We still WILL have our Hive celebrations tomorrow morning! Have your students wear their Hive colors!

The compilation of these records and forms requires a great deal of time, effort, and energy from the Morris Brandon staff.
