Parent Input Forms for 2017-18 School Year

As a part of the scheduling and class list development process, you have the opportunity to provide input into the kind of classroom environment in which you think your child will thrive. New Student Registration 2017-18

New student registration packets can now be picked up from either campus or downloaded here. Clarification letter/post can be found here. The Primary/Preferred Registration Deadline is Monday, March 20, 2017, with ALL required documents. Please share with friends and neighbors with rising Kindergarten students! Having students registered early helps us effectively plan for teacher and resource allocation and help to keep our class sizes down! NOTE: Registering during one of the late registration windows negatively impacts our ability to effectively staff Kindergarten classes.

For those of you who were unable to join us in January 2017 to find out more about the Dual Language Immersion program for the 2017-18 school year (or for those who were able to join us and want to review the materials again), you can find both the video from the session and the presentation here.

 

Book Fair: February 3-10

Morris Brandon’s Scholastic Book Fair starts Friday, Friday, February 3, and runs through Friday, February 10, at both campuses. Hours are:

  • Friday, February 3: 7:30am-3:30pm
  • Monday, February 6: 7:30am-3:30pm
  • Tuesday, February 7: 7:30am-3:30pm
  • Wednesday, February 8: 7:30am-3:30pm
  • Thursday, February 9: 7:30am-3:30pm AND 6-8pm
  • Friday, February 10: 7:30am-9:30am ONLY

We also still NEED volunteers!! Students need help making book selections and checking out, and we need assistance setting up and breaking down the fair. Please sign up here to volunteer at the Primary Campus and here to volunteer at the Main Campus today!

Principal Coffee and Conversation

Join Principal Stimpson on Monday, February 6 at 8:30am (MC – IB Room) for a relaxed conversation and an opportunity to get questions answered personally and in a small group setting. This is an informal Q&A rather than a formal presentation.

Principal Stimpson, along with members of the administrative team, will be present to provide information geared to two main audiences:

  • Parents/Guardians new to Brandon for the 2016-17 school year (share what has gone well as a new family and what we could improve upon in the coming years to welcome new families)
  • Parents/Guardians with questions about how students are served in regards to Gifted Education (ex. what does my non-Gifted identified student do on “Challenge Day”; what will Gifted services look like in the coming years?)
