Parent Referral Opt-In Deadline for Gifted and Talented Testing

Parents may request testing of their child for the Gifted & Talented Program (Challenge). Please complete a “Permission to Test form,” available in the front office of either campus, and return it to the front office. The Grade Level Gifted & Talented Chairperson will review your request and inform you of your child’s status. All requests must be made no later than September 30, 2016.

Hive Assignments

Hopefully you have heard by now about the Hive program we have implemented school-wide. We are excited that this upcoming Friday, September 2, will be our first Hive Spirit Day. Please have your student dress in his/her hive color. To make it easier this year, the assignments are class-wide (in the future, your student will remain in the same color hive for the remainder of his/her time at Brandon). Don’t know your student’s hive, please check here to find your student’s teacher!

“Intentionally Exemplary” is our Brandon tagline, but rest assured that this focus doesn’t end in 5th grade. Come meet Sutton Principal Gail Johnson who will be at our next PTA meeting to share her values and vision for the crucial middle school years. Don’t miss the opportunity to hear Gail’s impassioned and ambitious plans, and get candid answers in a Q&A. Field Trip Payments 2016-17

Field Trip costs have now been uploaded into the online payment system, which is linked from here. If you used this last year and created a profile, past student’s information should still exist within the system. If you are new or have a new student, you will need the student’s ID number in order to submit payment. To get this information, please contact the office at either campus.

Ready to BEE involved? The Interest Indicator form for 2016-17 is HERE and opportunities to chair or support a committee are ample! We can’t wait to hear from you.

Summer Office Hours. Now through June 30 and then again from July 18 through July 26, the offices at each campus will be open from 8:30am-2:30pm. Both campuses will be closed for summer break from July 1 through July 15. Beginning July 27, the offices will resume normal hours which are 7:30am-3pm.
