Statement from Principal Johnson
Sutton Principal Gail Johnson has sent an apology for missing this morning’s PTA meeting. Gail realizes that parents took valuable time from their schedules to attend and, in her own words, “I am beyond mortified and sorry that I missed my time at Morris Brandon this morning. I came upon an emergency at our 6th grade campus when I came in this morning and completely lost track of time. Then I go to the Morris Brandon web site and see my visit listed front-and-center. I am sick about this. I just really do not know how I can ever make this up. There is an adage as a principal to never walk into your building when you have an early morning off campus appointment for reason just like this. I should have just come straight to your school and done some work until the PTA meeting.”
We know that we’ve all had a similar experience (likely many) with emergencies and competing priorities displacing prior commitments, so we can relate to Gail’s situation. Principal Johnson has a relentless passion for providing a stellar education for our kids. Please stay tuned for a rescheduled date to learn more.
